Fashion News: Angelina Jolie's Maleficent could inspire a smoky makeup look

June 20, 2012 |  8:10 am

The first photo is out showing Angelina Jolie in the title role of the Disney film "Maleficent," and she does have that regal-yet-spooky dragon lady look. The film is in production and due for release in 2014. We can definitely see potential here for a makeup line of smoky looks. The film, directed by Robert Stromberg, stars Jolie, Elle Fanning, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson and Juno Temple. [MSN]

Fashion police -- real fashion police -- were out in force Tuesday for the opening of the annual Royal Ascot races. Justin Bieber's first fragrance, Someday, was a blockbuster, with annual sales reaching $39 million. Now the crooner is back with Girlfriend, which he described as a "more mature" version of its predecessor, which was the No. 1 women's fragrance launch of 2011. Girlfriend went on sale at Macy's and other retailers on Monday.
