If you want to be at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival in Indio this weekend but are stuck in the city, take heart. Loehmann’s Beverly Hills is another place where music and fashion will converge.

Wilson Phillips, above, is slated to perform in an in-store concert from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday. The trio will be promoting their new album, ‘Dedicated,’ featuring covers of hits by the Beach Boys and the Mamas and Papas, along with their new TV Guide Network reality show, ‘Wilson Phillips: Still Holding On.’ Loehmann’s is using the performance to promote its spring and summer fashions.

Sounds like a match made in heaven -- but in reality a marketing agency called Hip Genius brought the parties together. At any rate, fans of fashion and music are the beneficiaries. Shoppers and Facebook fans will also have a chance to win a $250 shopping spree and tickets to an upcoming Wilson Phillips concert.

Loehmann’s Beverly Hills, 333 S. LaCienega, Beverly Hills; (310) 659-0674; 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Roberto Cavalli

Roberton Cavalli opened its remodeled store in Beverly Hills on Thursday. The 3,000-square-foot space houses women’s ready to wear and accessories and, for the first time, has a large area dedicated to menswear as well. There are also items for newborns.
