Fashion News: Mulberry’s Lana Del Rey bag goes on sale early

There’s been so much demand for Mulberry’s Lana Del Rey bag, which had been due to go on sale this fall, that Mulberry is releasing it early. Limited quantities went on sale in London and New York on Tuesday, and a general release is planned for May 14. Elle calls singer Del Rey ‘the least established star for which a luxury good had ever been named.’ [Elle]

Cambodian parliament member Mu Sochua is calling for a boycott of Nike after hundreds of workers at one of its factories there fainted in two incidents last week. Nike has sent a team to investigate. Almost 1,000 workers reportedly have become ill at Cambodian clothing manufacturing plants since January, so it seems like the country should be doing some investigating of its own. Apparently a growing number of men are getting bikini waxes, including Brazilian waxes. Some are even bedazzling the newly smooth skin with crystals applied in various patterns.
