Spanx, the slimming, shaping undergarments that are many a woman’s best friend (and some men like them too), has propelled company owner Sara Blakely onto Forbes’ world’s billionaires list. At 41, she’s the youngest woman to join the list ‘without help from a husband or an inheritance,’ the magazine said. ‘She is part of a tiny, elite club of American women worth ten figures on their own, including Oprah Winfrey and Meg Whitman.’ That’s Blakely, pictured in the yellow jacket, with Spanx-clad models.
