It was fun to see so many ladies taking risks on the red carpet Sunday night. Emma Stone’s Alexander McQueen gown was a total knockout because of its mid-calf length -- unlike anything else out there. Also loved Michelle Williams’ Valentino gown -- a red dress with the twist of a one-shoulder bodice and short, red lace sleeves. Zoe Saldana, who is always a risk taker, totally rocked it in a white Givenchy gown with a spiky jeweled neckline. Just fabulous. And after some deliberation, I’ve decided I’m on board with Rose Byrne’s white Elie Saab jumpsuit. Her inspiration was 1970s ‘Scarface,’ and with the hair, it worked in a kooky chic way. And that’s what the red carpet needs more of: kooky chic.
