Metta World Peace: ‘DWTS’ loser, fashion winner?

Metta World Peace, the former Ron Artest, was cut from ‘Dancing With the Stars’ on Tuesday night.

He had the lowest number of judges’ points, and as our ‘DWTS’ expert noted in her recap, his cha-cha was so stiff, there was no way he was going to win the mirror-ball trophy.

But although he proved he can’t cha-cha, he did rock. The L.A. Laker looked great in his dark open vest and glossy pants in an understated rust shade. You don’t often get understated when it comes to ‘DWTS’ costumes. Partner Peta Murgatroyd, however, was wearing a sassy fringed bikini -- nothing understated about that.

David Arquette tried out white tie and tails, Kristin Cavallari tested the limits of fringe and Hope Solo did multiple hems and a whole lot of rib.
