Satine, the designer boutique on 3rd Street that houses everything from Isabel Marant to Richard Nicoll has been a shopping destination for fashion-hungry girls for the last seven years. And a recent website revamp may just set shoppers’ tongues wagging, not just for the scrapbook-style fashion pages, but for an expanded list of designers, including Lanvin and Balenciaga, available for purchase online.

But what caught my attention was the ‘Diary’ page, which includes Q&A’s with female musicians and more unassuming fashion ‘it’ girls, such as Alix Petit of Heimstone and Ilirjana Alushaj of the band Apache Beat. The feature explores personal style, but in the subject’s own words, all with a vintage-y scrapbook kind of feel.

The revamp and visual feast of street style and collage-esque clothing spreads echo all the recently launched Tumblr blogs by designers and fashion brands such as Tory Burch, Kate Spade and Oscar de la Renta, which allow each to round out their brand’s presence and lifestyle aesthetic -- and give yours truly something new to gaze at on the, er, rare occasion I find myself procrastinating.
