No one needs to point out the ridiculousness of the kind of partying that’s become a Cinco De Mayo tradition here in the U.S., but the way we see it, if it’s happening, you might as well be dressed appropriately for the occasion, no?

So, in the spirit of the Beer Buckle (the combination belt buckle and beer holder we told you about earlier this year), we bring word of the D-Lush men’s boardshort from Metal Mulisha, which has pockets specially designed to accommodate an entire six-pack of cold frosty beers. (The shorts were also designed to include two extra waistband straps -- to prevent an accidental pantsing by Pabst.)

They sell for $65 a pair (which includes an attached aluminum bottle opener) and are available online through Metal Mulisha’s website and at bricks-and-mortar Jack’s Surfboards stores.

Whether or not these “beershorts” are your cup of ale, you do have to admit they give a whole new meaning to the phrase, “Drinks are on me.”
