Like J. Crew — which has dabbled in selling one-off and vintage accessories — Anthropologie has launched a capsule collection of one-of-a-kind earrings by jewelry designer Melissa Joy Manning.

The drop design of each pair is essentially the same, featuring three semi-precious stones and/or gems dangling off one another. But the unique coloring of the stones makes each pair feel distinctive.

The stunning stone selection includes fossil coral, Peruvian opal, Mexican agate, ammonite slice, larimar, hemimorphite druzy, ruby zoisite, white druzy agate, stalactite slice, chrysoprase, occo agate, jasper and turquoise.

Manning, who’s known for her fashion-forward, nature-centric designs (not to mention her environmentally responsible production practices), has designed 110 sets of earrings, each priced at $298.

“This is an amazing project because Anthropologie basically said, ‘We trust you,’’ said the designer. ‘As an artist, that’s the ultimate gift — and you really can’t ask for more.’

We envision wearing the earthy baubles with a simple, solid T-shirt dress or tunic — our hair twisted up in a casual chignon to show off the stones.

The Melissa Jo Manning collection is available at Anthropologie Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Pasadena and the Grove.
