Twihards might only know her as the sassy plain-Jane Jessica Stanley in the ‘Twilight Saga’ films, but for those who covet their fashion magazines, actress Anna Kendrick is known as one of the best dressed young starlets in Hollywood.

Kendrick has been busy promoting her new film ‘50/50’ with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the much anticipated conclusion to the ‘Twilight Saga’ vampire flicks, ‘Breaking Dawn -- Part 1.’ Always a stunner on the red carpet, she’s willing to take risks in everything from a Marchesa cocktail dress to a casual look by Rag & Bone to a floor-length Elie Saab couture gown.

Kendrick made an appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival Woman Filmmaker brunch in an everyday grey tank tucked into a calf-grazing dark brown skirt with a belt, a navy blue grandpa cardigan and black sandal heels. We’re used to seeing her all glammed up for award shows and premieres but the 25-year-old continues to impress in this down to earth look with less than a smidgen of makeup.

Long skirts came back for spring in a big way. You can rock this trend in any number of lengths and colors but Kendrick’s adaptable soft brown skirt with a belt works for a film festival brunch or a a casual lunch with your best girlfriends. Steal this look in the suede crinkle skirt from Chicos.com for $39.98. For a belt, snag this dark brown leather belt from Gap.com for $16.50, perfect to pair with a skirt or any number of outfits like a bulky sweater and leggings or jeans.

A simple gray tank, similar to the plain white tee, is a must-have closet staple. There are many affordable choices with subtle variations, making it easy to choose the one that’s right for you. For a style that is super simple and classic try the Timeless tank from Bananarepublic.com for $15.50, Grey Marl basic scoop neck vest from Topshop.com for $12 or the racer-back cotton ribbed tank from AnnTaylor.com for $18.

Kendrick’s navy cardigan looks super comfy and perfectly complements her otherwise girly outfit. The grandpa sweater can also be a go-to piece when you just feel like something soft to layer with. Although Kendrick’s sweater features white piping, if you’re going for a long-term investment, a plain sweater might be the better choice. For a lightweight grandpa style sweater, Gap makes a long cardigan with pockets for $54.95.

A strappy pair of sandal heels is a great addition to any spring or summer wardrobe but finding a pair that won’t kill your feet might pose a challenge. Go for a wedge heel to maintain that high heel look without the pain of stilettos. For a cork wedge heel try the Ionia sandal by Chinese Laundry for $39.99. If you’re a fan of the espadrille style, Old Navy has a pair of espadrille wedge sandals for $25 and if you want to go all-black get the Mossimo Pilar strappy sandal heels from Target.com with a black wedge heel for $29.99.
