On the fifth day of fashion week, several of the fall season’s trends started to come into focus in the DKNY collection.

They are:

-- Clashing color (as seen here on a red-and-pink angora stripe sweater, and a red, henna, navy and pink pleated georgette color-block dress).

-- Puffer jackets (in a pink and red houndstooth or red mohair knit).

-- Skinny pants (DKNY’s had zippers at the ankles).

-- Mixed plaids (a plaid pieced blazer, worn over houndstooth pants). -- Tux-dressing (black double-breasted blazer and flare trousers, worn with a black georgette ruffle-front shirt wth a cream silk round collar).

--Stacked-heel shoes (Mary Janes or cap-toe spectator booties).
