It’s October, the month when fashion designers and various clothing and lifestyle labels begin introducing blush-hued items into their lines to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer and research toward a cure.

There’s everything from pink ribbon neckties to a lip-print tote bag, with proceeds from sales going to breast cancer research. And in case pink’s not your color, but you still want to support a good cause, there are plenty of non-pink products as well. Each year seems to bring more and more merchandise, here are some highlights:

LOFT has teamed up with 3 accessory designers, Kara Ross, Anna Sheffield and Me&Ro, to create three pieces of jewelry benefitting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Five dollars from the sale of each item will be donated to the foundation. Sheffield designed a long gold necklace that’s easily layered with other chains ($34.50), Ross made a gold, square-patterned bracelet ($39.50) and Me&Ro created a fringy bracelet with dangling seed-shaped beads ($34.50).

Fond of “look at me” footwear, pop star Fergie has a bright pink pump in her Fergie footwear line this month. The “Hope” shoe ($45) will be available during the QVC presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale” event benefiting breast cancer research Oct. 15. All of the net proceeds go to breast cancer research.

There are a few travel items that also support the cause, including White + Warren’s pink leopard travel wrap ($330), eye mask ($65) and travel slippers ($165). Half of all proceeds will be donated to Women at Risk –- the breast cancer program at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. On the less pricey and more practical side, Simply Vera Vera Wang has a pink plaid cosmetics bag that’s just $10 with 100% of the net profits going to breast cancer research.

For beauty lovers, Bobbi Brown’s pink shimmer brick is a flattering highlighter in a pretty petal shade ($38). The makeup artist will donate up to $35,000 in connection with sales of the shimmer powder to breast cancer research. Where better to wear pink than on your lips? Estee Lauder’s Pink Ribbon collection makes it easy. Three Pure Color Long-Lasting shades handpicked by Evelyn Lauder come in this croc stamped case ($25), with $500,000 in connection with sales of the lipstick collection being donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. For on-the-go beauty, Clinique has an adorable key ring stocked with pink lip gloss and lipstick ($16). Four dollars of each sale will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

In the case you are in the market for some high-end items, Ralph Lauren has the most luxurious. The limited-edition Pink Alligator Ricky 33 bag ($16,995) is as girly as it gets. All of the proceeds from the sales of the Ralph Lauren Pink Pony collection (which also includes a pink alligator and rose gold watch, $21,500) benefit the Pink Pony Fund of the Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation.

If the pink alligator bag is a bit out of your price range, try this lip print “Lips for Life” tote from Avon ($5), with 100% of the proceeds going to Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. And for something dressier, Lauren Merkin’s baby pink, studded leather flap front cross body bag looks good ($275). Half of the proceeds will go to the Young Survival Coalition.

And finally, for the man who wants to show some support, Vineyard Vines does a nice job of creating a print out of pink ribbons on this light yellow necktie ($75), with 25% of proceeds benefitting Breast Cancer Alliance.
