PacSun, maker of surf and street fashions, is throwing a beach fiesta Saturday and Sunday in Santa Monica to celebrate the onset of summer.

PacSun Summer Solstice Beach Ballyhoo, a two-day music festival and action-sports exhibition, will feature bands as well as pro athletes poised to entertain the sun-loving hordes. And, best of all, tickets are free while supplies last — available at all Southern California PacSun stores.

Quiksilver wil be sponsoring a demo with skate legend Tony Hawk on Saturday from 4 to 4:45 p.m., and BMX fans can check out Fox athletes including Chase Hawk, Scott Crabmer and Trey Jones in a beach-side street session on Saturday from noon to 3:45 p.m.

Bands over the two days will include AWOLNation, Bad Rabbits, As Tall as Lions, YelaWolf, Ra Ra Riot, Circa Survive, Hey Champ, Eye Alaska, Steel Train, Neon Trees, Matt and Kim and B.o.B will perform. Party on.
