WWD did a huge story Tuesday on the new Topshop store opening in New York on Thursday. It’s 40,000 square feet and four stories tall. There have been parties in town all week and Kate Moss is said to be doing the ribbon cutting with Topshop owner Sir Phillip Green.

The highly anticipated opening has the city and tourists in a major tizzy.

I walked by today and there was already a crowd of photographers and eager shoppers trying to get a sneak peak -- even pleading with a security guard for a glimpse of the store.
