Keds’, the shoe brand with the signature blue tag, has gone green. The company known for canvas oxfords has started an all-green line made from organic cotton, recycled rubber and toxic-free inks and dyes. Even the shoe boxes they come in are made from recycled paper.

Keds Green line hits stores March 25 and for every pair of shoes bought this year, Keds will plant a tree. Prices start at $55.

Now that the ‘80s are back in full swing, maybe people will be wearing their oxfords sans laces and with hot pink scrunch socks.
