Sen. Edward Kennedy’s widow to appear with Oprah

Victoria Kennedy, the widow of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, will appear on Oprah Winfrey’s television talk show Wednesday in her first interview since her husband’s death in August.

Victoria Kennedy’s two children from a previous marriage, Caroline and Curran, and Ted Kennedy Jr. also will be on the show.

Kennedy suffered a seizure in May 2008. Subsequent tests determined that he had a malignant brain tumor. He was 77. His memoir,‘True Compass,’ was released in September.
