I buyz ur quiltz?

06:56 PM PT, May 22 2008

get ur quiltz here!

Man oh man do I love Weird America!  (And, for that matter, quilts!)

Submitter pamann took this photo in Crossville, Tennessee (population 8,981 according to trusty Wikipedia).  Anyone know if it's still there so I can buy a quilt from these people?

Thanks a bunch for the LOL, pamann!

The sign was up for over a year on Rt 70 going from Sparta to Crossville, but it came down shortly after I stopped the car to take this picture. A new sign now says "Quilts For Sale" and a wedding band quilt hangs on a clothesline from the front porch.

Thanks for the info, Pamann!

(Although I have to admit, I'm a little sad to hear the sign's no longer there. How serendipitous that you were there to document it, though!)

That is quite a sign, I am going to have to check how many sells I have in pocket so I can stay warm next winter.
