Thanks a lot, Parking Enforcement!Okay, meter maids...you really want me just to sell my car and get it over with, right? Is that what I am to gather from this? Just checking. Just wanted to be sure we understood each other. "Parking in LA" from the album On the Street, submitted by pockets --Lindsay Barnett
Your morning adorableUm, OMGOMGOMG!!! Are these guys best friends or what?! I may pass out from the preciousness of it all. (So if there are no further blog posts today, you'll understand why. Can you blame me?!) "Pals" from the album Four-Legged Friends, submitted by MB --Lindsay Barnett
Vandalizing 4 Jesus?God: "You're welcome. Now may I suggest a quick perusal of Elements of Style?" I kid, I kid. This is actually kinda touching, no? "dear god thanks" from the album Downtown, submitted by gomez --Lindsay Barnett
We (heart) the Getty!I don't exactly have all the data in front of me, but I'd wager that one of the most-photographed places in all of L.A. is the Getty Center. In fact, it's photographed so much that we gave it its own Your Scene album! I'm here to tell you that there are lots 'o great photos in there to check out, but here are a few of our favorites. (BTW, we have it on good authority that the man in the photo above, while ill-advised in his choice of walkways, was unharmed! So don't fret, folks, it's all gonna be okay.) More Getty awesomeness after the jump!
Your morning adorableI can't decide if Kaya here looks incredibly comfortable or incredibly uncomfortable, but either way I feel confident saying that she is precious precious precious! I think I like the curled-up front paws the very best of all. Or do I prefer the kicked-up paw in back? Ah, no matter, it's all amazing. Good dog Kaya! A Meatty iconFolks, this is it...one of the great, departed culinary icons of Los Angeles. Sadly, Mo' Better Meatty Meat Burgers is no more, but you can always keep it in your heart (and if your heart needs photographic evidence, tell it to look no further than our L.A. Restaurants album). But what's this we hear about Indulge Cafe, the establishment that took Mo' Better's place on the corner of Pico and Fairfax? Could it really be a reincarnation of the original restaurant? If you have the scoop, don't keep it to yourself! "Mo Better Meatty Meat Burgers!" from the album L.A. Restaurants, submitted by db9000 --Lindsay Barnett
NYC, what is it about you?I love New York (I hasten to add that I am not referring to the reality show of the same name!!) and, from the multitude of great photos you've submitted to our New York City album, it seems that you folks do too! I love the fashion...
Your morning adorableGo ahead, just ask me how much I love giraffes and their oddly flexible forelimbs! I mean, I know this is a biological necessity if they...you know...want to be able to drink water, but it's still pretty adorable, right? "water break" from the album Africa, submitted by berniw --Lindsay Barnett
