Video: Syrian forces reportedly attack Damascus suburb

Ugarit News, a Syrian opposition news group, posted this footage Monday reportedly showing attacks on a Damascus suburb by troops loyal to the Syrian regime. The Times cannot independently verify the content; access to the battle zone in Syria is restricted.

Syrian forces moved to crush resistance in the rebellious suburbs over the weekend, according to opposition groups. More than 250 people have been killed in clashes nationwide since Thursday, an opposition coalition called the Local Coordination Committees told The Times on Sunday.
