A few funny Flickr'ific cat videos to round out the day

Those of us battling on the front lines everyday to convince people that the Internet is a substantial force for cultural development, enlightenment and, ultimately, the general well-being of the planet, cringe every time we hear people dismiss our domain of greatness by calling it "a bunch of stupid cat videos." 

In fact, the Internet has many great cat videos. "America's Funniest Home Videos" may have established the genre, but the Web and YouTube have taken it to another level. So before you bemoan the evaporation of high culture, please, please, at least check these out:
