Elisabeth Hasselbeck can't get Sarah Palin to return her calls?
Elisabeth Hasselbeck has long been the lone conservative voice on the morning chat show "The View," so one would think that of all people she could get her phone calls to Sarah Palin returned.
Apparently one reason the former "Survivor" contestant complained recently that Palin's bus tour was distracting the media from Mitt Romney's message is because Hasselbeck is miffed at Palin for giving her the cold shoulder.
"Elisabeth feels used by Sarah," an unnamed friend of Hasselbeck's told Rob Shute of celebrity blog Pop Eater. "When she needed her, she was all over Elisabeth, and now she treats her like a stranger."
"It’s sad," the source said, adding that "Elisabeth has reached out to her several times but she never responds."
On a recent episode of "The View," Hasselbeck used a creative analogy to argue that the hockey mom's "One Nation" bus tour was eclipsing the media attention from Romney's plan to improve the economy.
"If I had termites in my house, I'd get someone in there who could deal with it," Hasselbeck said. "Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy. I'd have him in there. Here's why we're not hearing it: because Sarah Palin's on a bus and right now she's manipulating, in terms of media attention."
In 2008 Hasselbeck was on Palin's side, guaranteed that if the Alaskan made it to the White House as vice president to Sen. John McCain she would fight D.C. corruption.
"Did I mention that this woman, she's got a real knack for cleaning. She cleaned up house in Alaska. Yep," Hasselbeck said while introducing Palin at a rally in Tampa, Fla., in 2008. "All that corruption went out with the trash. Now whatever the good ol' boys are up to these days, that has no place in her state -- no place. And Gov. Palin will use that same mop to clean up Washington and Wall Street, guaranteed."
It appears that Palin needs to clean up her apparent tiff with "The View" co-host if she really does have aspirations for political office, because with friends like these, who needs Democrats?

I can understand her getting the cold shoulder. It's no secret that libs hate Sarah Palin. So why would she set herself up for abuse just to promote the View? Just because she is the "conservative" voice on that show does not mean much. It's like being the most sane patient in the Asylum.

Why would you want her to call you back Ms. Hasselbeck. She's a has been and probably doesn't know or remember who you even are so why waste your time on her. She's a quitter and pathetic person all around. The only reason anyone knows who you are is because of the family you married into..Its not that impressive. You are not the Republican's Mouthpiece on the view and I find it funny when you speak acolades about the Bush admin and you attack Osama....Whether you like what he did with healthcare or not, AT LEAST HE DID SOMETHING and put something out there. Bush did nothing.

Elisabeth, I do hope that the reason you won't support Sarah Palin should she decide to run for President is because she would be bad for our country and not because she doesn't return your calls. The upcoming election is much bigger and much more important than you whether you're getting snubbed.

I don't blame Sarah. Elisabeth has been trashing conservatives for months now. Is she still a real conservative? If Elisabeth is backing Romney she is no longer a conservative. I would never vote for Romney with his state health plan. I am sure the media is all for him and would love him to be our candidate.

The problem with Elizabeth is that she's not Elizabeth. She re-defines herself everyday. Her changes are largely based upon feedback from people who follow her, on the "View". I Wonder, what does Elizabeth really think, about these issues: Was going to war in Iraq a good idea? Is homosexuality, wrong, immoral, and evil? You're a fan of Mitt Romney, do you really embrace his ideological beliefs? I bet that if you had the chance to write back, other then saying all is well, you'd be hard pressed to answer the questions in a forthwright manor.

Elisabeth is not conservative, she only appears such because she is surrounded by such extremely liberal people on The View. Elisabeth has been crying this same story for over six months, she needs to get over her bad self. If Sarah isn't calling, there probably is a very good reason.

This story put out by camp Palin no doubt. Even if it Sara does not return Elizabeth's calls it has no bearing on the fact that Romney is by far the more qualified of the two and has won Elizabeth's support. Elizabeth sees Sara for what she truly is, a selfish egomaniac who's no. 1 goal is to get more attention for Sara Palin.

Just more validation that my "gut" feeling is correct. Sarah Palin does not actually own the ability to be President of the United States. She tries to appear "folksy" and "the all around American girl". But deep in her heart her main interest is in gaining power. o has proven you can "gain it". What he and she fail to understand is how important it is to know how to "use it" constructively in the interests of all Americans. They are not the focus, making America a credible place to live is. Neither o nor Mrs. Palin understand that concept.

I am a Republican and rather conservative, but I find both Elizabeth Hasselbeck and Sarah Palin nothing short of dizzy dingbats. Hasselbeck and that gaggle of geese on "The View" tends to deminish any credability one may ever hope to project. Sarah Palin is a childish show off who gets off when the cameras and mikes are around. I could never take Palin seriously -- never.

Elizabeth, too, the media follows Palin like flies... so media too is at fault since it is highly attracted to a Palin mentality as opposed to the reality of following a possible candidate for the presidency of the USA - whether a Democrat or a Republican - (not a Palin mentality -who'd absolutely excel in Hollywood). Actually, IF McCain had been elected president, IF he had been incapacitated, today our president shall have been a Palin!! So, choose/elect our Vice President wisely... as was when Vice President Harry Truman served our nation
Our media have lost their way... they don't pursue our nation honestly... the 6 or 7 media giants are immersed with distractions... pursuing unnecessary 'junk' - whilst our citizenry, still painfully facing an economy - is fed a Palin high jinks - what a misdirection of our media. I agree with Elisabeth that Sarah is distracting attention from the other conserative candidates, but Sarah is a show stealer. She is intelligent, beautiful and ambitious. I don't think I'd vote for her if she ran for president, but I certainly don't think she deserves to be treated so visciously by the media or stupid comedians who stink, like Joy or whoopie.

Why should we give a damn, really, concerning Elizabeth Hasselbeck's difficulties regarding Sarah Palin or, for that matter, anything about her? The fact is, this girl is and always has been basically just another "reality TV" media slut desperately seeking to lengthen her 15 minutes. That "The View" chose her to be one of its co-hostesses is proof positive that that show, despite its masquerade, is by no means a serious discussion program. It's actually another "Regis and Kelly," only with no Regis, multiple Kellys, and with social/political pretensions. Liz Hasselbeck and all these other "reality television" camera whores should do the right thing and slink back into the obscurity they previously inhabited.

so believe in god. living wages affords extras=healthy bus.=healthy money markets=permanent surplus. spray hose up. does an average i.q. deserve to go on vacation? real stimulus to compensate bad wages will cure economy over night. ...i'd vote republican next election, for the first time, if i think fundementally, the person is honest, always self corrects when he see he errs.
