Obama recruits an army of community organizers to carry his 'movement forward for years to come'
The community organizer who became president has launched a massive pre-reelection year campaign to assemble and train an army of new community organizers to carry Obama's "movement forward for years to come."
Strengthening "our democracy" presumably has something to do with reelecting the revered leader in 2012.
However, the Organizing for America recruiting message says nothing about politics or election campaigns and strangely talks in military terms of "a grassroots program that aims to put boots on the ground and help foster a new generation of leaders -- not just to help win elections but to strengthen our democracy in communities across the country."
The same Obama campaign group was reported involved in fomenting and facilitating the ongoing Wisconsin protests against Gov. Scott Walker's budget plans.
The message about what it calls the "Summer Organizing Fellowship" adds: "Effective organizing doesn't happen in a vacuum. It takes commitment, time, and hard work to build a movement around a cause." It does not specify what the "cause" is, other than promoting Obama and his agenda.
News of the community organizer drive went out in an e-mail to millions of supporters and past donors Tuesday night by the ongoing arm of the Obama campaign, Organizing for America.
It appealed for workers of all ages to volunteer to undergo professional organizational training this summer for stationing in communities all over the nation to drive President Obama's social and political agenda.
The cadres "will be assigned to a specific community," the message informs, "where they'll work to organize supporters street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood."
Their job will involve recruiting additional Obama workers, running Obama-related events, knocking on doors to talk of Obama "and lay new groundwork to carry this movement forward for years to come."
"In the end," the Obama campaign appeal says of the community organizer corps, "their work will take our grassroots power to an impressive new level."
The appeal cites as one role model Nikki Giancola who underwent the training, then quit her middle school teacher's job to become a regional Obama field director and the satisfaction she felt "in helping millions of people."
Another community organizer, Paras Patel, tells of one unforgettable moment actually meeting the leader for whom they all labor, President Obama. "He shook my hand," Patel recounts, "and told me that he was proud of me."
No mention of an Obama organizer flag, uniform -- or salute.

You libs and the Marxist is toast, better look around and get a dose of reality. If you thought 2010 elections were bad for you, just wait until 2012. We are going to crush you.

Last time I checked, this is a Representative Republic... not a Democracy. Democracy is rule by mob.

Organize all you want. History proves, big government, high taxes, more regulation and a crushing deficit will make our economy even worse and insure defeat for Obama in 2012. It will also usher in part 2 of the Reagan Revolution!!

Replace "Obama" in the section above with "Hugo Chavez/ Fidel Castro/Kim Jong-Il" and it sounds like the propaganda we get from Venezuela/Cuba/North Korea.
The true believers have 2 years to watch this ship go down in flames

Not yet, anyway.

The people who follow Obama should download the ten Commandments and pay particular attention to the first: I am the Lord they God, thou shalt not have strange gods before me.

Scary dedication from an army of drones. No sitting president has or should created a political army before.

"He who controls the past, controls the future" will this be the Democrats Party slogan to live by in 2012? Those who fail will be brought to room 101 @ The Ministry of Truth.

This man is destroying our country. There is nothing presidential or honorable about him or any of those associated with him. He spends the first two years spending us into oblivion, taking over or regulating every industry possible, and partying and campaigning as much as possible(all at taxpayers expense).
Now he will spend the next two years doing photo ops, campaign attack ads, and partying , while sending his minions out to disrupt gov't. all around the country through bullying and intimidation. All of this so he will be given another 4 yrs with a blank check to boot.
I will never, ever, vote for another democrat!

This, as the agenda of the President, will fail. Americans have OVERWHELMINGLY REJECTED the Community Organizer's agenda. Because we don't all fall for the victim mentality trap. I forsee some trying to ferment chaos in the next election cycle. What can the President say about his time in office? Unlike the last time, he now has a record, and it is full of failed policies and lack of leadership. Good luck to all you agitators though.

"The appeal cites as one role model Nikki Giancola who underwent the training, then quit her middle school teacher's job to become a regional Obama field director and the satisfaction she felt "in helping millions of people.""
She quit her job as a teacher and now claims that as a community organizer she feels satisfaction at having helped millions?!!!!!!!!!!! She quit a job where she could have hleped people, students... and became a Community Organizer! What has become of our country that community organizing is considered to help more people THAN TEACHING.
Of course she is entitled to leave the teaching profession and take another job-But please dont claim to be helping more people

"revered leader"? Are you kidding me?
Posted by: TNPatriot | February 23, 2011 at 07:18 AM
The Tea Party has the strength of the US Constitution and the common sense of most Americans to back their movement. The commie organizers will lose this battle because there simply isn't enough stupidity in this country to allow Washington to tack another 5-7 trillion onto the national debt. We simply can't afford the Great Utopian Dream.
For example, look at how well Detroit is doing these days. Which political party organized THAT catastrophe?

They always refer to "strengthening our Democracy" but do "they" realize that America isn't a Democracy but a Republic ruled by law....
The head community organizer doesn't. I can't wait for the Obama internship is over !!!

These people scare me.
Before my lifetime liberals gave up on liberalism in favor of leftism and yet retained the moniker (likely for advertising purposes). The idea that a majority group can restrict my rights, confiscate my property, imprison me for peaceful non-compliance (ala Obamacare) is abhorrent the my liberal core. The people are fascists, the exact opposite of liberalism and as such are the enemy of every free citizen in this country.
It's a strange day whey my hopes are pinned on the newest conservative movement but I'm hoping the Tea Party can check the power hungry leftist politicos.

I can not believe the nerve of this president if he honestly believes that the AMERICAN people are going to just follow suit and become sheep he is sadly mistaken!!!

Why does this remind me of the Castro Youth Corps in Communist Cuba and the Hitler Youth Corps in NAZI Germany?
This is quite bizarre! Is Obama believing all this "messiah" press?

It is impossible to imagine that the American public at large will not reel in horror at these brownshirt tactics. It is also very difficult to imagine how the "Golden Child" will react when he is ultimately rejected by the voters in 2012. Perhaps Moammar Gadhafi's latest rambling rant provides a preview.

Okay, does this sound creepy to anyone else? "...Nikki Giancola who underwent the training, then quit her middle school teacher's job to become a regional Obama field director..."
This sounds very strange to me. Sounds cultish. Yikes.

Sounds like communism to me. Are we now a communist nation? Read the history books folks.

Too bad he can't "organize" the job market and the economy. A guy with as many problems to solve as Obama should maybe concentrate on...oh, I dunno, the country's problems. Instead he's vacationing a lot, wiping his feet on the Constitution and scarfing down 2,000 calorie meals with his wife while she lectures us on proper diet. Don't forget raising an army and telling more pre-election lies.

They had better not knock on my door.
Posted by: Cassandra251 | February 23, 2011 at 07:53 AM
Sure glad he's focused on the economy like a laser.
Maybe he might like to start an energy policy that will help us get through the troubling times we are headed for.

I don't want a community organizer for President again! Please, wake up!! He is ruining our country!
Posted by: Desert Rose | February 23, 2011 at 07:56 AM
This is truly frightening. Is he also issuing his army of goons brown shirts and jack boots? Hopefully as liberalism becomes more and more irrelevant, these zombies will be ignored and slowly fade away.
Posted by: Steve | February 23, 2011 at 08:00 AM
Shouldn't they all be wearing brown shirts now? Would make it easy to identify them for who they are.

It will not help the American people are on to the progressives and their anti-american agenda.
The mere fact that they have to under go training says it all.
Progressives are all about political correctness, fairness and a predetermined outcome, collectivism, central planning, and big government.
The ends always justify the means.
Collectivism and central planning have never worked and will always end badly look at history.
Progressives can keep their NANNY - I prefer my God given rights under the constitution espousing individuality, liberty, freedom and above all PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.
Progressivism = Totalitarianism
Wake up folks we are on the slippery slope.

Posted by: mason | February 23, 2011 at 08:08 AM
You would have thought that the people of the world would have learned something from the likes of hitler, stalin, lennon, fiddle faddle of cuba, mousy dung of china, obama is using their playbook, and the mindless numbnuts are falling in line. This whole thing is going to end badly.
Posted by: tymtrvlr | February 23, 2011 at 08:09 AM
And where exactly is the money coming from to support these community organizer's and leaders who are promoting Obama's agenda? How are they able to support themselves if they are quiting their jobs and working as "leaders"?
Posted by: Lynette | February 23, 2011 at 08:12 AM
I just wonder how many tax payer dollars are going to fund all of this "organizing". Al a ACORN.

"No mention of an Obama oganizer flag, uniform--or salute." There will be. I suggest a nice earthtone. perhaps a nice brown.

His movement? This country doesn't need a socialist movement. It failed in Russia, it'll fail here. And what's with the Benito Mussolini look in the picture above? Or is that going to be the picture on the posters that the "movement" plans on waving?

Better be ready when they come to your door. Ask them if they would still support Obama if he suspends the Constitution.
Posted by: LibertyBelle | February 23, 2011 at 08:31 AM
Can America not see what is going on? Look at the Middle East. Look at the protests in Wisconsin, Ohio and elsewhere. There is one common denominator: They are all led by the American far left. The language is the same, the tactics are the same. Even more hair raising is the similarity to the National Socialists in Germany in the late 30's. Hilter used the unions to amass power. We have an unholy alliance of leftist groups coupled with Islamic socialist groups in the Middle East. Saudia Arabia is next. We had better put two and two together or the world is never going to be the same.

Will they wear brown shirts and all march in goosestep too? How un-presidential. More ghetto gangsta gov'ment from our Homie in Chief. End this nightmare now, as the Libs like to say, "By any means necessary." Impeach... coup... whatever.
