Ticket pic of the week: At least snow melts at some point

Sandstorm in Afghanistan

Our Ticket pic of the week earlier this month -- "They could use Sully down under" -- showed the incredible flooding in Australia, still underway.

Well, next time you've had it with weather wherever you are, put yourself in the place of Army Pfc. Benjamin Brickman. All he's trying to do is go from one tent in Afghanistan to another.

The snow can blow pretty well back home in Albany, N.Y. But at least it melts at some point. And the flakes don't get in between your teeth. And ...

Thank you for your service, Benjamin.

The flooding in Australia is heart breaking. They sure need relief of the wet weather soon.
