A Soldier's Christmas poem for all of them. Please pass it on
Here's a simple holiday video called to our attention by one of our many Twitter pals, @thelightchaser1. He received it from a Twitter pal of his and asked that we pass it on.
It's a simple video, a poem titled "A Soldier's Christmas." It's written by Michael Marks. We didn't know him until we watched the video. Now, we feel as if we do.
As Our Ticket Christmas Eve wish for all of you, wherever you are, watch the video. And, if you feel the same as we did upon viewing it, please pass it on.
Warmest holiday wishes to everyone.

all I can say is thank you. I shook the hands of two soldiers flying home for Christmas just this past weekend and told them thank you, and to see the expression on thier face you could tell it was quite a surprise. People don't seem to remember this is an all volunteer military that serves us. We need to remember that and thank them whenever possible.

So I will agree to give thanks
Supporting them as I may
By continuing to fight
In my own earnest way
Remember this day gave birth
To an idea, not just a Man
Who gave His life for Earth
So that humanity can
Enter the kingdom, a paradise and cure
Free from war, man's avarice and lure.
So turn thy cheek, put weapons low
Heaven isn't reaped by the bullets we sow.
Instead of the lion we wish to appear
Instead see the lamb weeping in mirror.
For just as we were, we can be again
That shiny city, equal among her men.
Heed: Rich and Poor soon are the same
Once times' work has ended the game
But for the days we yet have to earn our daily bread
Let us stop to share -- there are still others not fed!
For just as we were, we can be again
That shiny city, equal among her men
That endeavors for peace, justice for all
The country of our founders, no class creed or wall
But only the cause of freedom
I pray we all call.
Amen
