As Obama hits the campaign trail, 'Mourning in America' ad greets him, recalling the Reagan era

These videos pretty much speak for themselves.

The first one is the classic "Morning in America" ad that helped ensure Ronald Reagan's overwhelming reelection in 1984 over some Democrat from Minnesota.

Watch it. And then scroll down to the next one.

Now here's a powerful new ad that you'll soon be seeing on TVs across the country.

Its title is different by one letter: "Mourning in America."

Democratic President Obama and his sidekick from Delaware head out on ambitious cross-country campaign swings starting this week, trying to stem what polls indicate is a serious hemorrhaging of political support for their administration, their expensive policies and their majority party that has controlled Congress since 2007.

Obama's not on any ballot on the Nov. 2 elections. But this slow-paced visual....

...message by Fred Davis of Strategic Perception for Citizens for the Republic is aimed smack dab at him -- and by implication all those who support the incumbent's "grand experiment" that has so regrettably failed.

However, Obama's not angrily attacked. And he's mentioned only once.

But as Kathleen Parker so eloquently notes, that's enough with the parallel, contrasting Reagan era images to tap into, not the ubiquitous anger we hear so much about abroad in the land these days, but instead into the nation's surging sense of sadness over the failure of so many hopes in the last two years.

Now, tell us below what you think of these two commercials.

Man do folks really, I mean really have a short memory! They really think that the situation that we're in is because of our current President? Have they really just blocked out the 8 years between 20o1 and 2009? I amazes me how blind and ignorant people can be when it comes to history and I'm simply stunned and amazed that those same people can't even remember the last 10 years and blame others instead of themselves when they gave G.W. Bush a second term.

Ditto to AZSmitty of Arizona. from TC in Arizona!!!

Obama's reign has been a catastrophic failure and every American, rich or poor, who wants a better life, should be reminded there is a dramatically better alternative.

The scariest thing to me about Obama being elected is that we all could make such a giantic mistake. Its one thing to have two political choices but this election seems to have been managed being the scenes by some very crafty and disingenuine people and motives. Lets get the vote out and make sure it never happens again!

The prayers I say most often nowadays contain pleadings for God to help this nation remove the current administration before it is too late. They are racing against time to destroy our freedoms and our Constitution while they are still in office. Please, God, help us to get the message out to those who have not yet seen the light, so that we may stop them from removing all that we love and believe in from our lives...especially our love for this Nation, under God!

The one word that comes to mind after watching BOTH videos is a word coined by Mother Moron...ASTROTURF. Astroturf is fake grass. Everything in Washington now is fake, up to and including Mother Morons face and other body parts to be sure. It IS MOURNING in America. There will never be another Reagan so it might be wise to stop pining away for that to happen. Instead we need to focus on getting rid of the Kenyan and his cronies and take this country back, by force if need be. I, for one, will not stand by and allow a communist/socialist/marxist/fascist/muslim freak to destroy what took over 200 years, and countless amounts of American blood, to create. I'm sick of people bad mouthing America. It may be time to make some examples out of some of these traitors. People in America need to stop yelling to free Barabas (OBLAMEO) when he is the enemy to begin with !

Obama's not angrily

It's interesting to see how many people are making comments, even today,in disbelief regarding Barack Obama's actions. The comments, disbelief and anger should have been displayed before the 2008 elections. We should have read what he said about himself and taken him at his word. Instead we showed ourselves to be the gullible fools he took us for. And there are still those that believe in him.Even with the Bible as a guide how many times are we going to be like the Israelites of old.How many times are we going to turn our backs on what we know to be the right way.Gods way.
