Is a Sarah Palin reality show about to be reality?
So is Sarah Palin, the politician whose life sometimes seems like a reality show, perhaps going to really do one now?
She's got the buzz. (And a husband with an Alaskan fishing boat.)
Entertainment Weekly is reporting Wednesday evening as follows:
Career backup in case this political thing doesn't work out?Sarah Palin, TV producer? Multiple sources confirm that Palin and uber-reality show producer Mark Burnett have been making the rounds in Hollywood this week to pitch a TV docudrama about Alaska.
One source called it a “planet-Earth type look” at Palin’s home state. The former candidate for the vice presidency was seen leaving ABC today with Burnett, and an insider confirmed that she met with reality topper Mike Darnell yesterday at Fox (where she and her family ended the day by visiting American Idol. Palin stayed in the green room).
She also stopped by CBS today and plans to meet with NBC Universal TV Chairman Jeff Gaspin tomorrow.
Wednesday afternoon, as our colleagues at the Ministry of Gossip reported here, Palin collected bags of valuable Hollywood freebies at a pre-Oscar Awards courtesy suites, wrote out a personal check for $1,700 and donated the whole pile to the Red Cross.
And she was on Jay Leno's re-new Tonight Show last night, as we reported here with video.

Sarah Palin is the EX-governor of Alaska. She is not a celebrity. She should have nothing to do with our government. She quit her job for what reason? To be on TV? Please. She is inexperienced. She is an embarrassment to the government. Please don't keep this media rage going on. Who cares about Sarah Palin? She's just another Jon and Kate. Who cares about them either? I don't know why the media tries makes these people into stars, when they are trashy.

I hope she gets a reality show. It will put an end to any chance she'll run for president.

Enough already - we are so sick of hearing about Sarah! She's an conniving opportunist with the ability to lie well - nothing more. I'm glad she's out of Alaska - please don't bring her back. Find some real news to report on.

Seems that mostly all of Ms Palin's undertakings result in unmitigated success.
No wonder the libs and lib media do not tire bashing her and her kids.
Faux feminists along with the leftys are allergic to the true American spirit
and values that she symbolizes with such maestria and sincerity.

rather mis-leading to headline and byline this story by calling this project a 'sarah palin reality show' that mirrors her personal life. she's PRODUCING a show about her beloved state of alaska, not promoting herself or exploiting her family. the woman continues to do a great deal of good in this world, but some people just can't bring themselves to say so.

I am so happy we have good honest american loving people in this country like Sarah Palin. No matter how much the left froth at their mouths with lies, rage and hate for Sarah, she remains high above them. Their petty slurs and envy shows their ignorance of what this country is about. I'm sure they would rather have all people be more like Obama, Unqualified, untrue, unrealiable, uncaring, unamerican and looking for handouts. Sarah Palin, Keep on pushing.

Al Gore has a cable channel who no one watches, which he parlayed into a Nobel Peace Prize for a climate phenomenon that doesn't exist. Gov Palin producing a docu-show about Alaska shows how much she is still proud of her home State. It's not the worst move in the world for her.
As for the irate replies above & below -- love 'em. She sends liberals into a tizzy and that's half her appeal to millions of voters.
