Coakley losing it in Massachusetts, Dems in panic mode
The political shocker of the day is that Scott Brown, a Republican state senator from Wrentham, Mass., is leading Democratic Atty. Gen. Martha Coakley in the race to succeed Ted Kennedy.
Fueled by tea party anger over the Obama administration's policies on healthcare overhaul and federal spending, Brown is now leading by 50% - 46%, according to a poll by Suffolk University/7News.
“It’s a Brown-out,” said pollster David Paleologos, director of Suffolk’s Political Research Center. “It’s a massive change in the political landscape.”
One early signal that the poll might be accurate is that Brown raised $1.3 million on the day of his debate with Coakley, far more than the $750,000 he had planned.
With the election Tuesday, Democrats are marshaling money and personnel toward the race -- if only because Coakley represents the 60th Senate vote for healthcare. Democrats are so worried they have cooked up a Plan B for healthcare -- if Brown gets sworn in, the House would just attempt to pass the Senate version of healthcare without any changes.
You could tell Coakley was losing it the other day when she derided her opponent by disdaining the most sacred of Boston icons -- the Red Sox. Criticized for taking a vacation during the campaign, Coakley defended herself and dissed Brown for an ad showing him shaking hands with voters at Fenway Park. “As opposed to standing outside Fenway Park? In the cold? Shaking hands?” Coakley was quoted saying.

OMG.. this is soooo cool. It is better than the best sex ever.. watching the libs losing it here. All I can say is it couldn't happen to a better bunch of socialist, scum bag, corrupt, stab you in the back and under the bus, liberal, progressive, IDIOTS.
I despise and detest anyone trying to take away the foundation that our fine Nation was built on. It is high time to get tough on crime & nat'l defense strategies and start taking our Country back from people that hate the USA. We need people in high positions that love and are proud of where they were born and raised, and give the power to the people.
Close the borders and send back anyone who does not obey the law, learn our language, and respect the USA and the people who were born and raised here.
Enough is enough. Time for some common sense.. FINALLY!!
God Bless America.. GO Brown Go !!!

Although Philadelphia is considered the craddle of our country, it was thanks to the Bostonian Tea Party that started the process toward our independence. It appears they are doing it again .... good luck to them all and Brown.

The Democrats are scrambling to throw as much mud at Brown as possible in the final days of the campaign. But the best they can do is dig up some cheesy photo of him in Cosmo from 27 years ago. So they are forced to run with it and adopt a "family values" and "moral rectitude" attitude to explain why this photo is important -- all this from the same Democrats who gave us Teddy Kennedy and Barney Frank.
This is too funny for words.

Is this a paid advertisement for the Republican candidate? Or a part of the "Liberal Media" or "vast Right-wing conspiracy?" From reading this post it was hard to tell if this was supposed to be a so-called analysis piece or trying to pass for news-reporting.
What happened to journalistic standards?

It's hard to believe that all those people are from the Boston area. Only one has the well-known Boston accent.
