Don’t worry! Go back to exchanging your holiday gifts.

Vice President Joe Biden is on top of the attempted terrorism attack on the airplane near Detroit.

Charges have now been filed against the accused Nigerian national, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. He was on a terror watch list. But apparently not high enough on that administration list and nowhere on the ‘No Fly’ list, despite warnings to U.S. officials by his own father. (Hmm, didn’t it turn out that U.S. officials had advance warnings about the alleged Ft. Hood shooter too?)

The latest alleged terrorist was subdued by passengers and is being treated for second-degree burns all over a private anatomical area.

This Vice Presidential Schedule Update has just been released by the White House following Biden’s holiday visit to wounded U.S. military members:

After returning from Walter Reed Medical Center last night, the Vice President is spending the rest of the weekend at home in Wilmington celebrating the Christmas holiday with his family. While at Walter Reed, the Vice President was briefed by his National Security staff on the attempted terrorist attack aboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253. He has received ongoing briefings since that time, and will continue to be briefed by secure teleconference over the weekend.

President Obama is being briefed too. But he’s on vacation far away and operating on Hawaii time.
