An amazing political video, nothing to do with Obama, McCain, Clinton or even Biden

September 20, 2009 |  6:48 am

Every once in a while in our around-the-clock online wanderings, The Ticket comes upon something special. A serendipitous surprise. And we decide to share it.

This is one of those times.

It's an amazing video.

Political. Historical. Artistic. Moving. It ignites thoughts of many things, unlike some modern verbal political debates.

It features Kseniya Simonova, someone probably few of us have ever heard of -- yet. We think that's going to change.

See this video and decide for yourself. We found the images inhabiting our mind for quite a while. Still, even.

Feel free to share your thoughts and feelings in Comments below.

I can't understand why no-one has commented on this. Perhaps they were all weeping too much. Maybe they realised that no words would suffice for a performance that defied superlatives.

In a world of cynicism, where so little impresses any more, Simonova's artistry is so staggering and so beautiful, even the hardest of hearts has to be moved..
