Obama Town Hall: Antonio and Arnold get the ball rolling

March 19, 2009 |  1:19 pm

President Barack Obama with California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and in the background Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa welcomed the crowd, then introduced California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was standing next to him. Considering that Villaraigosa first supported Hillary Clinton and was only a latecomer to the Obama campaign, and that Schwarzenegger didn't support Obama at all, they really love bombed the guy today (and each other). They lauded President Obama's courage and urged support for his economic recovery program.

"It is very important that leaders work together," said the governor. "It doesn't matter what party affiliation,  especially in these hard times right now."

They all love each other so much, but not as much as they love the California weather.
