Oath-muff mocker Joe Biden muffs Hillary Clinton's oath

As everyone knows, Vice President Joe Biden is usually one of the planet's most circumspect when it comes to the spoken word.

So that same world was stunned when on the Obama administration's first afternoon in office, Biden stepped up to administer the oath of office to some staffers and made a sarcastic crack about needing the text to read because his memory wasn't as good as that of Chief Justice John Roberts, who had muffed Barack Obama's presidential oath the previous day in front of a few hundred million people.

Obama quietly reached out and squeezed Biden's left elbow to say, "Enough." And Biden later phoned the chief justice to apologize.

Today, with no foreign funerals ready yet, Biden was sent over to the State Department to re-administer the oath of office to Hillary Clinton. She actually took the oath just off the Senate floor moments after being confirmed last month. But a new administration can never have too many happy photo ops showing everyone getting down to work.

So in front of an eager pro-Clinton audience Biden stepped up to the new secretary of State with her oath on a piece of paper in hand.

And you just know what happened.

Biden is The Living Dead, as VPs are never important and Gore proves that much. He will drift off into political never never land as a long time public laughing stock, much like Al Gore.

The judgement or lack thereof in appointing him and now Geitner and Daschle and that other failed gal, prove that Barry's GOOD judgement is sorely lacking. Barry's stimulus package has been already defeated by some smart Dems and the Repubs. Repubs rule !!!

Immigrant parents...Andrew Malcolm...Scottish? The birthplace of many of the concepts for Democratic government on which the U.S. Constitution is based? I'm sorry my comment isn't really on the oath-muffings. I think they probably all need to practice before they perform in public, take a deep breath to relax and slow down. And the Democrats need to review and clean up their tax problems ASAP. There isn't much moral high ground for beltway insiders like Daschl who aren't completely above-board any more than the Republicans they like to point to as examples of rich people who don't care about regular Americans and feel they are above the law.

For the first minute or so of that video, I thought that was Chelsea's hand on the Bible, and that's what they were all laughing about. You can also tell Biden is a good friend of the Clintons. But yeah, he bumbled. Again. Oh well, at least he's comparatively harmless.
