Mad magazine's shocking Obama cover: What, Barack worry?

Obamamadmagcover

Forget the Time magazine cover. And the New Yorker covers. And even Ebony.

For those Americans of a certain generation, Barack Obama may have been elected the 44th president. But only now has he finally made the Big Time -- the cover of Mad magazine.

Once it was the juvenile equivalent of SNL and the Onion all in one with outrageous and disrespectful jokes and drawings that would deliciously annoy any parent. It's not exactly a must-read anymore. But we had to share the latest cover with you. (Notice how the artist cleverly avoided portraying Obama's ears the same as Alfred E. Neuman's.)

As our blogging buddy Frank James points out in the Swamp, Mad may be suffering; it's going to become a quarterly publication now instead of a monthly. But what a month this one is!
