Free at last, loser John McCain walks out for his own coffee
On his first day of being an historical footnote, Arizona Sen. John McCain walked down to his neighborhood Starbucks for his morning coffee -- all by himself.

tching TV (see complete text here), the now-former Republican presidential candidate, who was late taking Secret Service protection because it cramped his style, had no cumbersome motorcade with flashing lights.
With his convincing loss behind him, no speeches to give and no White House transition to plan or even contemplate, friends described McCain as extremely happy.
He spent the morning in his Phoenix condo relaxing and joking with friends and family, who described him as eager to return to work in the Senate, where a fair number of other losers have already returned from their own failed campaigns.
McCain and close friend Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina are discussing possible legislative initiatives and planning a trip to Afghanistan.
Really! Who wouldn't want to go there after a bruising political campaign?
Campaign manager Rick Davis said, "He didn't even spend 24 hours lamenting the loss."
Late today, according to our Swamp colleague Jill Zuckman, McCain left with family and friends for his rural home outside Sedona, where rib-grilling was reported high on the non-campaign schedule.

He's happy he doesn't have to be two people at once any more. The McCain that campaigned was not the McCain from even 3 years ago. He had to kowtow to the darker side of his party, and he looked very uncomfortable.

I do not usually read such things and rarely do I comment or continue in postings of such. Today, I will comment. Why would you post such things? I prainse God for my life and where I stand in my life. It comforts me greatly to know a valued truth that so many do not know. The words spoken (whether ill spoken or kind) one speaks from his mouth do not go out void but returns to him in a more powerful way than it was sent out. Calling someone "loser" is simply magifying the word in oneself. It is indeed sad that people still find joy in trying to hurt others but truly being ignorant to the plain and simple truth that they are only hurting themselves. What they condemn another with in their spoken words, so they will reap in a greater way, in due time. It's nothing God does to us but rather what we do to ourselves. Shame is not on Gov. McCain but rather on you and so you will now reap the consequences of your words and probably are already reaping consequences of ill spoken words as you reflect where you are in your own heart and life. Gov. McCain feels no pain from your ignorantly spoken words as he walks in a much higher level of maturity and can enjoy his life no matter where he stands. He has found happiness and joy in simply giving of himself in what he believes in, whether it is as a president or as a child of God. As he smiles, so do I because he did not lose anything but rather gained a deep respect of himself for following his heart. He is not dead, he still has goals and a life and he still is heard and loved by thousands. Most importantly, he is loved and cared for by God. He was given a stand and he made a difference but how wonderful it is to realize that he is STILL making a difference until God says not. I truly feel pity on you for not knowing that kind of peace and happiness. I wish all to know it but also realize that it is in their own destiny to choose or not to.

I , Like above, do not usually read, or post on such things, But feel a deep need to comment on So called "war hero" John (biggest loser ever) McCain.
After reading The article "Make Believe maverick" In the October 16th , 2008 Issue of Rolling Stone Magazine, I feel Nothing but Contempt and hatred for the man (and i use the term loosely).
The article describes his spoiled brat life, and Worse than mediocre Naval career, Going into detail about his multiple plane crashes, lack of interest in proper flight procedure, and all but causing the biggest naval disaster since WW2 aboard the uss forrestal. And the fact that when he was finally shot down (because of his reckless decision not to take evasive maneuvers) instead of planning escapes like the other brave men he was imprisoned with, he chose to divulge sensitive information to the enemy to avoid torture.
As if i need to go on, it is also alarming that he graduated (only because of his family pull) 894th out of 899 in his class of his naval officer training.
It is ridiculous and very disturbing that a man with his reckless and WAY below average history/career was the best candidate that the republican party could muster. sad. very sad.
The last election (2004) there was talk of him running for Pres., and at that time all I was aware of was his "war hero" status, and was blindly ready to vote for him. Luckily before this election, i learned a lot more about this reckless, spoiled, model dating, stripper-screwing, plane-crashing idiot in the nick of time.
I DO realize that Rolling Stone Magazine is WAY left in it's political views and writings, but facts are facts, and anyone interested in learning the truth about this blithering idiot should read the affore mentioned article.
Just fr the record, I'm Not real excited about having a man name "Barack Hussien Obama" In the white house either. All i can say is that we are heading into a very scary future as Americans.
