President-elect Barack Obama's Chicago commute--Part II
The Ticket reported last night that it took President-elect Barack Obama's Secret Service motorcade 16 minutes to whisk him from his Loop transition offices to his Hyde Park home on the Windy City's South Side.
Mighty good time for anyone who's envisioned a similar trek even without automatic weapons to discourage anyone cutting you off.
For those political fans keeping track, tonight it took them 17 minutes, fully 6% longer for the same basic trip.
Heads will surely roll.
