Sarah Palin won't be keeping her GOP-financed clothes
Yes, the Republican Party spent a fair chunk of change to spruce up Sarah Palin's wardrobe as she made her entree onto the national political scene. But after the campaign ends, the new clothes purchased for her and some family members are headed to charities.
"It was always the intent that the clothing go to a charitable purpose after the campaign," said Tracey Schmitt of John McCain's campaign.
Schmitt also said: "With all of the important issues facing the country right now, it’s remarkable that we’re spending time talking about pantsuits and blouses."
Should some charity down the road decide to auction off those pantsuits and blouses, though, we imagine we'll be talking about them again. The bidding for them could be hot and heavy.

okay, so what if the clothes go to charity? other famous politicians and celebrities donate lots of money to different non profits or make foundations themselves.
it doesn't change who sarah palin is. her political view on important issues such as abortion are going to take the united states backwards.
dailysource.org has collected different footages of sarah palin's interviews, statements, etc. you could view videos of her interviews, speeches, and what not here:

This is probably the biggest non-story yet of all the media attacks on Sarah Palin. There is a growing backlash against the cheerleading media in this race. Journalistic malpractice.

It's amazing that with all the problems families are facing these days that someone would spend $150k on clothes to wear for the next two weeks. Couldn't she just borrow some from Cindy spendthrift?

Regardless of whether or not Sarah Palin's GOP-purchased clothing is sold for the benefit of charity, $150,000 is a ludicrous amount of money for a politician to spend on clothes, especially considering that Palin will be on the campaign trail for only two months. $150,000 is about the equivalent of four years at USC, 10 years of mortgage payments, 12 years of health insurance, and 15 years of groceries. How can you help but question the priorities of a candidate and a campaign that spend so much on clothes? Although it does make some sense in Palin's case; her appearance is just about the only positive left to her. Recent polls indicate that Palin's disapproval numbers are now higher than her approval rate, and many consider her to be "a drag" on McCain's campaign.

Joe siixpack non elite ---right!!!She needed a stylist--except for her natural good genes she looks awful and not even like a regular candidate but a characiture.....
Another waste of Repub money

They don't get it! McCain's camp is trying to spin this as quick as they can. Sure, you were going to give the clothes to charity. Which Joe Six pack wife is going to get the clothes from Neman. Are you kidding? $150k in clothes. Stop and think about it. People are losing their homes and jobs and their using campaign contributions to give Palin a $4,100 dollar allowance for makeup and hair. Shameful !!!

Poor Sarah! After all the rubbish that has been thrown at her and her family, she should at least be able to keep her new clothes. (Why would any emotionally healthy man or woman want to go into poitics? No wonder our "leaders" are who they are!)
I guess the Obama and Biden families are just wearing their regular duds.

Palin earns 120k a year as the Gov of Alaska, you are telling me that she could not afford her own clothes? The amount of money spent on dressing her and her family up is also excessive. This is from the women who "fought" the good ole boy club "the Washington outsider", give me a break. She is just like the rest, all talk no action.

Somehow, I just dont believe that.
Someone should keep notes on what she wears, 'cause I bet she appears in them again after the election - win or lose.

Hmmmm, I guess they are already admitting defeat then?

This is what bothers me the most. NOW McCain campaign says the clothes were going to go to charity all along. So Sara Palin spent 150K on clothes she KNOWINGLY was going to give away? There is but only one word for this irresponsible!
I thought she was supposed to be 'in touch' with Joe Six Pack and the Middle Class? She isn't a part of the middle class that I am. Frankly I just spent a hundred bucks on work shoes, and I still feel guilty.
The McCain camp is trying to spin this as much ado about nothing, but we all that there's more to it. John McCain doesn't have enough money to fight in several key swing states, but he has to pay 150K on CHARITABLE CLOTHING for his sidekick!
I'm appalled that the Republicans are still beating the drum on how inexperienced and out of touch Obama is.

Don't worry, nobody is trying to take away anybody's right to abort their child/fetus. Everyone has their opinion (I'm pro-choice). McCain has specifically said that it's up to the STATES. It's sort of like how we have Bush as Pres., but CA still has legalized gay marriage. (I think you're also forgetting that states need to ratify changes in the Constitution.) So...don't worry.
I think it's nice that the clothes will be donated to charity. Although I never liked Palin, this does improve my view of her just a bit.
Either way, I'm stuck voting for McCain/Palin because I would like someone to reduce the size of government -- not increase. (I'm one of those hold-your-nose voters.)

Good for Sarah! Not only does she infuse the money back into the economy, but it will come back two or three fold in charitable donations to help the very people voting against her.
She is a true American hero in my book! BRAVO Sarah!

I wish we knew where Obama's 150 million, and for that matter McCains 84 million are going! I'm sure there is more than 150,000 that just disappears in payments to consultants and who knows what.

First it was revealed that Mrs. Palin is a crook, and now we learn she’s a fake. I find it truly frightening that the United States could soon fall into the hands of a “maverick” who chose this individual as his running mate. If McCain wins, this election will not only lead to a constitutional crisis, but will ultimately do more harm to the reputation of the evangelical Christian movement than the seedy, Christian-oriented Dead Sea Scrolls scam put on as a purportedly scientific exhibit last year at a “natural history” museum in San Diego. I think that's a wonderful thing to be honest... And the RNC did pay a pretty penny for her clothes, but so what? It's not like it was paid for by the McCain campaign, it was paid for by the RNC (run by donations, not by taxpayers) They just wanted the Palins to look like good. I honestly don't see why people make such a big deal over it.
