GOP celebrity Sarah Palin calls in TV celebrity Elisabeth Hasselbeck for Florida help
John McCain's campaign is still fighting for Florida's electoral votes. So it's sending in its big gun, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, this weekend to campaign on the race's second-to-last Sunday.
And Palin, in turn, is calling in Elisabeth Hasselbeck, a co-host on ABC's televised morning coffee-klatsch, "The View." It may have something to do with the all-important female vote.
Hasselbeck, the token conservative and McCain supporter on the female panel of talkers, announced that the Arizona senator's campaign had called and invited her to introduce Palin at some Sunshine State rallies this Sunday.
"I am more than honored to be invited," she said. "So I'll be flying there to travel with her and meet some pretty interesting people, I have a feeling," said Hasselbeck, whose husband, Tim Matt, is a professional football quarterback.
She promised to tell some stories on Monday's show.
The subject turned to what Hasselbeck was going to wear, which she said was undecided. The ironically named Joy Behar, an outspoken Barack Obama supporter, suggested a Hefty bag with shoulder pads.

Too bad Palin didn't pick a women that women respect instead of the Ann Coulter Doppelganger.
Having Elisabeth Hasslebeck help her? It's like Dumb and Dumber.

Great for Elizabeth-
I heard that Stephen Baldwin, my cousin, will be stumping with Palin as well.
I bet it will be a breath of fresh air for both Elizabeth and Stephen, to be in the wonderful company of people who sincerely love our country, believe in God and support our troops.
A lovely break from the liberal left haters that they have to put up with daily in Hollyweird and New York!
McCain-Palin 2008
P.S. Reform Party supporters-
If you live in a state with early voting, please take advantage of it. We have to combat every illegal vote that ACORN is stuffing ballot boxes with.
PLUS- when you see the LONG lines on Election Day- you may get discouraged and go home (shudder).
And please- if you plan to "vote your heart"- for Hillary, Romney, Nader, Huckabee, Baldwin, Barr-
It's a two party system, folks.
And it will either be Obama or McCain.
Don't waste your precious vote - while ACORN and the left-wing media - are working so hard to steal the election!

Does Joy Behar no how obvious her jealousy is? Her verbal trashing of Sarah Palin and Elizabeth Hasselbeck
is really getting old. It's a shame that she has to rely on these tactics for self-esteem

well, she looks prime to sell Florida grapefruit to me. Where do they get these bimbos? Has the presidential race gone TNA? Maybe Palin should call in Pamela Anderson.

Ever since John McCain and Cindy were on the view, and I saw the disrespect from all of them including Barbara Walters, I do not watch the view any longer. In fact I was an undecided voter, and after that show, I went straight to the Mccain side. Who do those wash ups think they are? Watch after election...There ratings are going to fall off the face of the earth, and good ridence.

First of all, the reason why people are making an issue about the cost of Palin's clothes is because SHE is the one who is touting the "soccer mom, just one of you, joesix pack" image. None of those people are spending 250,000 on 9 weeks worth of clothes. What happened to Ann Taylor, Macy's etc she could have easily purchased very nice clothes at many less expensive stores. Also Joy Behar is not jealous, she is tired of Elisabeth who is an airhead try to defend this woman< Palin, who is not qualified. Lastly, the notion of comparing Palin to Obama, a Harvard graduate, attorney, former president of the Harvard Law Review, state and US senator is RIDICULOUS. It took Palin 6 YEARS and 5 schools to get her BS degree in journalism! Come on,she is not qualified and as an independent she has turned me off from her party. Oh yeah, the SNL appeareance was a terible idea because we are already laughing at her.She did not need to go on the show to get a laugh. A real pitiful woman.

Are all Republicans illiterate and incapable of spelling correctly, or just the ones above?

Oh gosh! Palin called in Elizabeth! For sure, Dumb and Dumber.
So why on earth would someone comment here that they swayed their vote to McCain's side because everyone seemed to be picking on him. What a way to cast your vote!!
Elisabeth is just as dumb as Palin, if not dumber. All she does is talk, talk, talk on The View. Who can get a word in edge wise? I'm Palin will have to interrupt her to be able to get a few words in herself. I would love to witness this joke live but I have better things to do.....

Who watches The View anyway?
Posted by: steve rodriguez | October 26, 2008 at 03:24 PM
It is so sad how pathetic Joy Behar is!
She needs to just go away / her opinions are so one sided .. she signed on the show "The View" to be the comic relief and now she makes you vomit and not even want to watch the show. Old hag go away! You contribute nothing to pop culture, you are an cancer on society with your attitude!
