Amid all the political rhetoric for Obama and McCain, some children sing out

October 28, 2008 | 10:14 pm

Our corporate colleague Lynette Romero over at KTLA-TV sent The Ticket a little note today:

"With this election just a week away we've been hearing a lot from the candidates, political pundits and Hollywood movie stars about getting out the vote," she said.

"But there is one group we haven't heard much from: children.

"A few weekends ago, a school group, a children's choir and some industry producer types decided to change that. They made a music video called 'Change My World.' "

Amid all the heated political charges and counter-charges of this campaign's last few days, we found Lynette's charming report particularly refreshing.  As she reports, it's not about any particular candidacy or party but about all of us. So we decided to share it with you.  Here it is.

Just remember kids, don't make more than $250,000, $200,000 or $150,000 or whatever amount that Obama comes up with, or you will be taxed into the next century.

If we do it: Refreshing.
If they do it: Fascist.
