So now it's Jackie Mason's turn to sell Florida Jews on McCain, it seems

In the ongoing struggle for the Jewish vote, as our blogging buddy Frank James has noted over at the Swamp, comedian Sarah Silverman has made her profanity-laced pitch to young Jews to withhold visits to their grandparents if they refuse to vote the correct way: for Barack Obama.

The freshman Illinois Democrat is not doing as well among older Florida Jews as even Bostonian John Kerry in 2004. And they are a crucial voting bloc.

So now, thanks to Mark Silva, here comes Jackie Mason who seems to favor John McCain, but sometimes it's hard to tell.

During the debate Sarah spoke about protecting Israel from Iran.
Which I agreed with 100%. Iran is a real and serious threat. How
could she reduce the dire situation in Iran and Korea by putting
the Castro brothers in that category(nuclear threat). The only answers I could come
up with is 1)She may Be thinking that the Castro brothers are #2 and #3on the deck of cards behind UBL and they are somewhere in the Middle East or
2)Oops, Florida is a swing state lets play games with the Cubans and shore up the
vote Karl Rove style.

Obama has been relentless in seducing America's youth, and controlling the media. What's next? ... teaching our children to turn their parents in to the Gestapo? These tactics have been used before ... and, they're right out of the Nazi and Islamic/madrassa play books. Wake up America ... the price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

Andrew MalcolmAndrew Malcolm's immigrant parents repeatedly stressed the importance of active participation in a democracy. Early lessons included learning the alphabetical list of states by watching televised roll calls of national political conventions. That childhood exposure led to a lifelong fascination with politics, including 40-plus years of covering them and a brief stint practicing them as press secretary to Laura Bush in 1999-2000. A veteran foreign and national correspondent, Malcolm served on the Times Editorial Board and was a Pulitzer finalist in 2004. He is the author of 10 nonfiction books and father of four.
