Barack Obama's spending is enough to drive the Republicans buggy

October 24, 2008 | 12:54 pm

Lest there be any doubt about Barack Obama’s money advantage, consider this:

In the first 15 days of this month, Barack Obama had enough money to spend $65 million to buy television time.A_big_cockroach_2

John McCain spent $19.3 million. The Republican National Committee, helping McCain pay for the campaign, spent another $11 million.

That means that Obama outspent his GOP rivals by more than 2-1 in the first half of the month, as he widened his lead in the polls, the latest campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission show.

Then there are these expenses: Obama spent $14,892 on photography. The Democratic National Committee spent $3,358 on health club membership.

The Republican National Committee spent $117 on a category called “Pest control.”

Don't waste your vote on McCain/Palin.
They are going to lose California anyway.

Let your (angry) voice be heard!

Vote for Ron Paul '08

He is now an "official" Write-In candidate in California.

Thank you LA Times for your fair and unbias reporting!
You are a credit to the national media!
