September 5, 2008 |  9:45 am

A lot was said during the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn. For a closer look at the words most commonly used in key speeches, drag the slider below.

What is this?

It's called a tag cloud, and its purpose is to show the most commonly used words in speeches delivered at the Republican National Convention.

Scroll through tag clouds of the convention's key speeches using the slider tool. The relative sizes of the words correspond to the frequency with which they appear in each speech. Some commonly used words like "the," "our" and "from" have been omitted.
