This whole thing with Palin is really beyond belief. She just isn't qualified, and it's an insult to so many women (in the Republican Party) who would be.

I don't usually traffic in this sort of stuff, but this one is really too good to miss given what we are learning about her approach to governing: Palin in a red, white, and blue bikini proudly holding a rifle. No, I am not making this up. See below.

The news about Palin's daughter will make her look even more "average" and it will help her with women voters. As a mother of two, I can understand her anguish in regard to this news and at the same time the blessing that they've been offered.

Remember what Obama once said, "I don't want to punish my child with a baby"...Palin's situation is the exact contrast to Obama's comment.

Here is a good blog dedicated to Palin:

very likely, they had the karl-roveian audacity to spot a little storm, and summon up a hurricane, in the media-warped imagination of the people, to divert attention from the (unequal) twin convention in minneapolis/st. paul. to prevent the people from noticing the besiegement of the neocon-hijacked gop convention in st. paul, by the legitimate candidate RON PAUL's 'rally for the republic' in minneapolis, the parallel republican convention that represents the traditional, constitutional and core republican majority of the party, the liberties and rights of the people, and the sovereignty of the nation; and the way mccain casually and carelessly presented his wishes to the people in the south allegedly in harm's way, clearly shows that he knew this to be fake, and no real concern; the punch-and-judy-show attraction of his vp choice points to the same. to call a 'truce' at this time is the effective instrumentalization of a minor meteorological phenomenon, in the desperate attempt to muzzle, hogtie and rape once more, the will of the people, and reason and liberty.

It is highly commendable that Sarah Palin's daughter has decided to keep her baby. There is no one who hasn't made a decision in his/her life that has had a "less than favorable result", according to those who consider themselves perfect.

I think some prople are too concerned about Palin's personal life. Her daughter is an individual who at 17 is making her own decisions. You can give your children a good home, good advice and lead by example, but sometime they might still stray. Look at all the baggage Barack Obama has Wright, Ayers, Rezko, Farrakhan and his appeal to every anti-american across the country and the world. He has no record of accomplishments and shows a lack sound judgment and leadership. Investigate Obama, he's the one who insults me. Palin is articulate, smart, bright, shows good leadership, learns quickly, is not trying to hide her past and she is nice looking. She is not perfect but she like John McCain cares about the american people. McCain/Palin are the ones I want to see in the white house.
