Campaign says it held announcement of Sarah Palin as VP choice

September 2, 2008 |  8:44 am

Timing was everything when it came to naming Sarah Palin as John McCain's running mate on the GOP ticket, according to campaign manager Steve Schmidt. At the Republican National Convention, Schmidt explained the decision to wait until the Democratic convention ended to release the news. The Ticket's Andrew Malcolm was there to catch Schmidt's remarks on video.

it's funny to see how Obama is dealing with McCain "checkmate:.

today Obama compared himself with #2 RNC ticket. wow! and he thinks he has more experiance because he is running a compaign...even obama could not find any other accopmplishemt about himself to talk about. How sad!

Here is a great blog on Sarah Palin:

Obama didn't voluntarily compare himself to Palin in terms of experience. He was asked to do so. This is will all play out in a most entertaining fashion.
