ABC News, in scoring the first extensive interview with Sarah Palin since she burst onto the national political scene less than two weeks ago, was looking at strong ratings under any circumstances.

The alert the network just issued teasing the first interview segment this evening, airing on its ‘World News’ program, certainly isn’t going to quench interest in what she has to say.
