John McCain reads his favorite newspaper

August 17, 2008 | 12:22 am

While Meghan McCain thumbs through the first copies of her new children's book and Cindy McCain looks on, Sen. John McCain, the Republicans' presumptive nominee for president, reads his favorite newspaper on a chartered campaign plane.

Why not, since he says he has trouble going online where The Ticket resides?

That's strange... it doesn't look like the WSJ in that photo...

He is reading the LA Times. HaHa.

Doesn't he know that you guys hate him. But alas where can he turn. This election all the editors have stopped looking for a president and have ventured into looking for a messiah to govern us all in 2009.

Dear L.A. Times:

You are much too trusting. The BSG viewers in your readership will understand that McCain is stranger and more devious than you can imagine. You have been led to believe that the L.A. Times is in John's lap and that CIndy McCain is next to him. Don't trust your eyes.

Ok, McCain is a technological neanderthal, but at least this proves he can read. It's a step up from Bush

I am interested to know exactly what the 4 candidates read regularly. If Gov. Palin had ever read a respected newsmagazine she might be a bit more informed on foreign policy, economics, etc... Ditto John Mc Cain.
What about Obama and Biden? If they (the 4) read The Economist regularly they would know something about the real world.
