Opinion: For Barack Obama’s speech, a cloudless sky

DENVER -- As Barack Obama’s acceptance speech approaches, the weather could not be more perfect.

In the dry climate of the Rockies, the heat of the day has dissipated and the evening’s temperature could not be more comfortable.

There isn’t a hint of the torrential rain that one Christian conservative -- somewhat infamously -- prayed for (and asked others to seek through prayer, as well).

In fact, there isn’t a cloud in the sky.
