Nice ride (for Obama) if you can get it
After Barack Obama dined with Jordan's King Abdullah and Queen Rania at the royal Beit Al Urdun palace in Amman today, the king personally drove Obama to the airport in his Mercedes 600 -- with no one else in the car, Obama spokeswoman Linda Douglass said.
The gray sedan with smoked glass was part of a motorcade that pulled onto the tarmac at the royal terminal of Queen Alia Airport. The king parked next to Obama's charter plane.
The two got out and chatted for a few minutes, smiled and shook hands. Two Jordanian soldiers in uniform, with red-pattern kaffiyahs on their heads, saluted Obama as he headed up the stairs of the plane for a flight to Tel Aviv.
Obama's next ride should be stylish too. Its his first trip on his 757 charter since it was reconfigured for him with "Change We Can Believe In" painted on the fuselage -- and a black recliner chair up front with "Obama '08 President" embroidered on the back.

Secret Service must have LOVED that.

Hmmm...the two of them alone in the car? Driving themselves? Kind of makes one wonder what the conversation was about, and how Obama may be planning to undermine the United States with the help of the Iraqi's.
Also, why the secrecy when it comes to identifying who the bundlers are for the Obama camp? He advocated for complete transparency, and all we've gotten is murky waters...and you can't say anything about McCain...he wasn't the one running on changing contributions, and not accepting PAC money and all. But Obama's shine is slowly wearing off...by November a lot of his supporters will see through his very thin veneer...and see the true Obama emerge...the flip flopper, undecisive and wavering...wake up America...sooner than later.

Bravo, Obama! The King of Jordan sounds cool. He cut his trip short in the US (Colorado) to fly back just to meet Obama. He sounds like he has excellent manners. I heard he greated Obama at his front door and then the ride to the airport, too?!? Outstanding. Obama has already done lots to improve our image abroad. No one else could do it better. I think the king and Obama just hit it off, they're the same age, etc. It's good to know that the new leaders in the world are doing so much better than the ones of old. Fine example.
As for McCain, not running on this or that and all that PAC bs, I'm not interested. McCain is too old in the first place. He's not really qualified to be our leader. He's just more of the same. No thanks.
And you know what...I'll play devil's advocate...say things stay exactly how they are now. I'd still vote Obama, because people like him. They want to be around him. No one wants to be around McCain, and he can't improve our standing or bring back our prestige in the world. No, things will not be perfect with Obama, and everything won't be roses, but what's so wrong with have a leader we like for a change. I liked Bill Clinton, too. So what?
Obama 08!
Obama 08!
