Ross Perot, the little Texan with the big ears, returns with his charts
Ross Perot, the little guy with the big ears from the big state who helped ensure the 1992 reelection defeat of Pres. George
H. W. Bush, is back.
And the Texan's still got his charts, just like the ones he used to prop up on TV during his expensive vanity presidential campaigns of 1992 and 1996.
Our brother blogger Tom Petruno, over at the informative Money & Co. blog, reports that Perot has just launched a new website because he's worried about government budget deficits and, he says, time is running out.
The 77-year-old Perot (gee, that's even older than Nader or Paul!) calls himself the father of fiscal charts. Tom's got the whole story right here right now.

Perot may indeed be back, but please... the myth of his having "helped ensure the re-election defeat of George H.W. Bush" has been de-bunked over and over (exit polls showed he took more votes from Clinton). The story is not helped by revising history.

I think when you refer to an older person as even older than another older person you are disrepectful to older people that are apparenly wiser than yourself.
Mr Perot may not be the most popular guy around but, hes not as stupid as you try to make him,
ROSS PEROT has done more for Military people and thier Famiilies than anyone else I can think of. maybe you should try thinking, it don't hurt

The last time Ross Perot ran for President was 1996. The last time he voted was 1994. Perot's company and his campaign owe New York State overdue taxes of over $15,000.00

Donald Frankenstein wants to run as an independent for president. His choice for VP would be Ross Perot.
I would be his spokesman.
Lets make this happen!

The concept that he took votes away from anyone is a monumental example of how Americans have been and are easily missdirected from reality. A vote for Ross Perot was a vote for Ross not one away from the monopoly that is our two party system (that is really one party of special interest cronies.) Maybe you haven't noticed that there have never been any other independents allowed to participate in the debates since then. Ross Perot would have focused on fixing our nations woes by shoring up our economic foundation averting our present day dilema.
Vanity it wasn't. He has always demonstrated that he is a true patriot and willing to take risks and spend his own money and not someone else's who expects a payoff in the end. Bush's VP and appointies have been the most corrupt since President Grant's. How else can you define Haliburton's fleecing of America and the Gas Prices, which are half of what they were just four months ago. Amaisingly! Just before the election! Do you remember four years ago the same suddent drop happened before that election. The only payoff Perot would have accepted was the elimination of our national debt, the return of MIAs, and positive financial opportunity for all. But then abain people would have to stop saying things like "My father voted Democrat, and his father, and his father before him. Thats like saying "All the lemmings ran off the cliff ahead of me and though I knew better I just had to do the same."
As for Obama. He is young enough that he may not have been as thouroughly corrupted by special interest as the average senator. He may actually do some good. With McCain there is no doubt we will need to get out the lube and get ready for a good pounding.
Remember a vote for anyone is still a vote for that candidate. No matter how much he or she plans on F@^#*@ us.
