Yee hah,
It is finally over . . . now let's get onto rallying around McCain.
Go John!

Dear American Voters, super delegates, and Hon. Senator Clinton,
Hon. Senator McCain and Obama, besides each having many attributes and characteristics. The critical differences in my professional, political, and personal opinion are as under:
1. Presidential "Temperament and Composer".
2. Little Washington "insider Versus outsider" connectedness.
3. Vision and mission for our nation future rather than past.
4. American policies first USA centric than other countries centric.
In my professional opinion one senator has it and the other does not. We need one for our Greatgrand Nation to address our all these challenges with a fresh, clean and new slate.
God Bless America. its diverse people, and our Greatgrand Nation.
Yours truly,
COL. [retd] A.M.Khajawall

PS: Yes, I am sure Hon. Senator Clinton will galvanize voters to vote in November to effect the change in WDC.

Hillary should have done what is Right and been Gracious at least a Month Back! - Hillary and her Campaign Team should have put Party First what Hillary does in the next 24 hours will tell what future she has if any in Politics!

So far she has shown no sign of graciousness. I cannot think of a reason to expect it now.

That's great news. Congrats Mr. future President!

The sooner Hillary withdraws, the sooner she can begin rebuilding her reputation as a person living in the real world.

Anything other than immediately acknowledging Obama has won the race, and pledging her full support for him, would be seen for what it would be - personal pride and ambition. To show that she prioritises the party, the State and the people, she needs to do it 'now'.

Clinton will concede tomorrow
Posted by: Joeseph | June 03, 2008 at 12:27 PM
SHE IS FREE TO CONCEDE WHENEVER SHE WANTS TO.SHE IS A DISGRACE TO WOMANHOOD.
Posted by: Stella Emmanuel | June 03, 2008 at 12:28 PM
Not to be a stickler, but according to the story, the tally is "...based on public declarations from delegates as well as from another 15 who have confirmed their intentions to the AP."
Um. "confirmed their intentions to the AP?" So what? Let's wait until the declarations are public. As it stands, AP, Senator Obama is 30 delegates short.
And everyone wonders why Americans hate the main stream media.

Fight on. Between now and August 25 is a long time. Things are going to continue to come out on Obama showing Democrats that he is unelectable.
Posted by: Andrew Austin | June 03, 2008 at 12:28 PM
Heheh, she's gonna be 80 and still telling everyone she's going to be the '08 nominee...
Posted by: jon davis | June 03, 2008 at 12:28 PM
If Hillary refuses to concede and no one cares, did she not concede?
"Woop-di-do"
Posted by: Zzz | June 03, 2008 at 12:30 PM
McCain in '08! It doesn't matter who wins the Dem nomination. They are going to lose anyway.
Posted by: George | June 03, 2008 at 12:30 PM
Fight on Hillary! 57 states are too many for Barack to preside over!
Posted by: Joe Edwards | June 03, 2008 at 12:30 PM
What a hoot! You know Hillary will claim that delegates mean nothing, and the popular vote is what really counts. If this strategy fails, perhaps she might hold her breath...
And don't fall for this "Hillary for VP" garbarge, unless you want to see another Whitewater-style series of "suicides"...

Clinton should have given up a long time ago. Her and her husband have blood on their hands. We have not, nor will we ever forget their shameless inaction as Rwanda's Christians were being slaughtered one by one until 77% of them, nearly 800,000 were wiped out. They just stood silently. Inaction towards genocide is participation in genocide. Also, let's not forget the Clinton administrations shameless denial of the Armenian genocide. Right when the House was finally going to officially make known to the world that this crime recognizes this tragedy for what it was, Clinton made a call to the House, and it was pulled off floor. How shameless and two faced these two are. She's always saying something different. I don't know what she stands for anymore. And let's not forget the cheater not wanting any delegates from Michigan for Obama. He followed rules, while this Chameleon now was singing a new whistle that she wanted those delegates. Get out of the race you cheat.

What a beautiful day!

This has probably been the most depressing, uninspiring primary I have ever had to witness....Senator Clinton became everything I thought she reviled...I feel exhausted and demoralized.
In fact: the gun-toting, bible thumpers can't begin to appoach my bitterness.
Posted by: Anita | June 03, 2008 at 12:35 PM
No Clintons on the Ticket!!!!!!!!!!!
Hillary cannot be VP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: N.E. BodybutHillary | June 03, 2008 at 12:40 PM
I don't think she should quit. Since Hillary doesn't get the nom, MCCAIN it is. Dems just lost my vote!
Posted by: Jane | June 03, 2008 at 12:40 PM
Clinton should never give up. When you mess with a Clinton you might as well be messing with the devil!
Posted by: Memphis RIch | June 03, 2008 at 12:45 PM
She should do what her inner compass tells her to do. Right now she's exploring her options in Obama administration. I'd rather see her as running mate for John McCain or take her supporters to an independent run. No matter what anybody says to her now she can make it into a giantic Poor Me that some people respond to. Probably people who take comfort in their victim ideation. She should go til she's done. I cringe to think of her on the ticket with him.

I am an Albanian from Kosova. I love her. I will cry that moment that she will give up. I hope she will win. All the best to her.

congrangolation to Obama, now you all have to work for the pres.chair and then it will be realvictory for all of us.
Posted by: lusje | June 03, 2008 at 12:51 PM
this is the same AP that broke the news that Clinton was conceding today, June 3! give me a break. this another way for them to get voters in Montana and South Dakota to stay at home and not vote for Hillary.
sham on AP for publishing Obama proponganda!

YES WE CAN.
We can govern this country and not the lobbies.
We can set aside differences and look at what we have in common.
YES WE WOULD
We would rebuild this country's economy
We would trust our government again
Do not forget the most important fact: WE ARE THE DEMOCRATS. They are no OBAMACRATS or HYLLARYCRATS, only DEMOCRATS.

Hillary has class and experience. Obama has street smarts and is willing to address real issues. Given that the voters want to see both in the Whitehouse, does it really matter who is on top? I think the best ticket would be HRC-Obama and not the other way around. Everyone agree?
Posted by: JFILL | June 03, 2008 at 01:09 PM
First. HILARY GIVE IT UP
Posted by: Nick | June 03, 2008 at 01:12 PM
HRC should speak after the election tonight. She has waited this long, let the last vote be casted.
Posted by: jbrown | June 03, 2008 at 01:16 PM
HRC should make her conceding speech after the last vote has been casted. She has waited this long, let the voters speak.
Obama for president
Posted by: jbrown | June 03, 2008 at 01:17 PM
I would say that Hillary is not going to give up; even though she should, Obama is the better canidate for the US right now out of the two. Obama has proven himself to be not corrupted by DC politics and is the best answer for America. He will be going in with a fresh mind and fresh ideas. Unlike Clinton who has been around the corrupt DC politics of for nearly two decades. We as Americans do not need any more corruption in our politics we have already have had eight years of lies we dont need another four!
Posted by: Mike | June 03, 2008 at 01:27 PM
Now is the time for our party leaders to show the electorate how to unite. It would be in the Dems best interest for Hillary to concede tonight, back in her home state where her trail began. She has been a great candidate but now the party needs to come together and focus on getting the white house, not just a nomination.
Posted by: Marchelo | June 03, 2008 at 01:29 PM
If she doesn't fold tonight, imagine the sentiment if McCain is voted into office! Hillary Clinton has made great strides in this race, but now is the time to move forward and support their democratic nominee (Barack Obama).
Posted by: er | June 03, 2008 at 01:31 PM
Give her 24hrs, she then needs to think about what is best for the party. Enough is enough. Though I don't think that it would be a smart choice to have her run on the ticket with Obama, we need fresh ideas all the way around. There are many other extremely important postions that she could do and one of them right now is to unify the democratic party
Posted by: Kim | June 03, 2008 at 01:32 PM
Obama either has surpassed or will soon surpass the number of delegates needed for nomination. When this happens, Clinton should do what every other Democratic competitor has done: concede with honor and the knowledge that she fought the good fight.
She should not continue her misguided battle once Obama has one. Winning the general election is too important to lose due to internal squabbling and petty claims of entitlement.
Posted by: Joel C | June 03, 2008 at 01:33 PM
Totally up to Hillary. Obama can't actually "clinch" until the convention, as the superdelegates can't vote until then and are free to change their minds, so why shouldn't she continue if she feels like it. If Obama wants/needs her out so badly, then perhaps he should offer her the VP position, if she wants it, or come to some other agreement, if she doesn't; might as well start practicing those diplomatic skills he will need in the White House. Hillary and her supporters don't need Obama and his supporters at the moment; quite the opposite. So why don't Obama and his supporters act like they want/need Hillary's support, rather than trying to bully her.
Posted by: Darren | June 03, 2008 at 01:35 PM
Obama has a wonderful opportunity to bring about much needed changes within the Washington business-as-usual mentality if he doesn’t make the mistake of naming Hillary Clinton as his running mate.
Posted by: Freedom Lover | June 03, 2008 at 01:36 PM
she lost not because she is a woman as many say but because she wasn't the right woman. most type A power house business womean and and also to the other extreme the family bound mothers just didn't buy her fake sincerity, ethics, and motives for running. The real issue is that people see the real McCain and Obama on and off camera and Mic, but off camera and Mic she is not the same person. She turns it on so to speak and can BS like a used car salesman but she has been caught too many times saying things that counter things she says on camera. heck you can see the facial expressions as soon as the mic is handed off, she goes from smiling friendly, to a mean, get me out of here and these pitiful people look. Not McCain and Obama, tey love their people and what they are trying to do and it shows, the smile, laugh on and off the camera. not her. People could tell she didn't really care about anyone but herself. Yes we loved Bill, he is real on and off, we knew he was a scoundral, but he didnt hide it and it was part of his charm. But not her, as fake as a 3 dollar bill. Its well known the way she looks down on and badly treats staff etc.., Luckily people saw thru the BS.

Senator Clinton should has fought a tremendous fight. She has shown commitment to her supporters but if she wants this country to heal, to move forward and for all of those people she cares about to live better, more engaging lives, she will concede gracefully. Not conceding is not gracious, it unseemly and dishonest. She has said that she is open to the VP slot but she does not concede. She is in the middle of the road and that is problematic. She should be concise, determined and committed to getting this party ready to win the general election! It is time for her to concede now.
Posted by: Amanda | June 03, 2008 at 01:50 PM
Hillary is a pushy, ambitious, woman and we'll have to physically yank her out of the primary. Obama is our man. We don't WANT you Hillary! She has shown a side to her personality that will hurt her even if she runs again in four years or eight. For now, she needs to concentrate on paying back the money her supporters unwisely lent her. Get lost Hillary. You are NOT, nor ever WILL be, your husband.

HURRAY !!!! I am SO HAPPY and fully support Obama. The Clintons tried every dirty trick in their book and Obama still will win and was able to amazingly keep his composure in spite of the lowest kitchen sink tactics. And I totally agree with what Donna Brazile said this past Sat. in DC at the DNC Rules meeting. You play the game by the rules - when you try to change the rules at the mid to end of the game - that's called CHEATING - and that is something the Clintons are very familiar with - LYING AND CHEATING. Hillary didn't give a damn about the voters of Florida and Michigan until she saw she was losing. Its always been all about her - a totally self-centered woman. Yes I'd love to see a woman as President, when the RIGHT woman comes around. God help America if she ever becomes President. And thank goodness Americans won't have to go through years of another related "Lewinksy" scandal. What a circus it would be to have the Clintons back in the White House !!!!! Their time has come and gone. I am proudly behind Obama 100% + - and for your info - I am a caucasian and most proud to vote for him - as he's SIMPLY THE BEST CANDIDATE. He's the best thing to happen to America in a LONG LONG TIME. My fervent prayers go out to him and his family each day. - Lynda, Northern VA

The more I read of Obama's words, the more I like him. Hillary NEEDS to concede the race to him and encourage her supports to back Obama.
As antigenocide said, the Clintons did nothing about the Rwandan genocide, the "stopped the killing" in Kosovo, by killing people with bombs (destroying alot of civilian targets in the process). Clinton voted for the Iraq war. I have respect for her, but I don't trust her.
I'm ready for something different, a fresh perspective free from all the Washington-insider garbage. Go Obama!

CONGRATULATIONS SENATOR OBAMA! NOW TO THE WHITE HOUSE. YOU HAVE RUN A SPLENDID CAMPAIGN, MONETARILY, PROFESSIONALLY, MORALLY, ETC. WHAT A LEADER!!!!
Posted by: Madison | June 03, 2008 at 03:09 PM
Why should she concede? Don't we all remember her comments just a couple of weeks ago about the Robert Kennedy assassination? And what about Barak and his negative stance on Israell and an open statement that he will negotiate directly with terrorists and dictators. All that does is to elevate them and give them credibility...and they will still do all they can to destroy us. And then there is the national healthcare issue. Just ask anyone from the UK or Canada what they think of their healthcare system. Ask yourself this, do you want healthcare run like the Social Security administration?
Go McCain...the only real choice we have...
Posted by: Greg Evans | June 03, 2008 at 03:13 PM
It is time for Clinton to concede. BTW: If you go to her website to give your feedback about what she should do, as she invited listeners to do in her speech last night, it only allows you the option of telling her she should fight on. Quite dishonest if she plans on using that feedback to claim a mandate to continue!

Here is a scenario - It is the year 2009. President Obama has just returned from an international trip. Hillary Clinton has left a message for him saying that she was not going to concede and she categorically denied any rumors regarding this - she said she is yet to make a decision on this (Apparently no one has told her that the election is over!). She insisted that she will not under any circumstances give him the 18 million votes that she got from hard-working white americans.
