John McCain looking at California for votes and bucks

John McCain, fresh from a Canadian swing, is planning a couple days of campaigning and fundraising in California next week. And he's hitting the predictable hotspots -- Fresno, Riverside and Newport Beach.

And who can blame him? He's already picked up more than $10 million from supporters in the state, part of the $93 million that Californians have donated to presidential candidates in this cycle (Barack Obama picked up nearly $30 million). That total is by far the largest amount by any state. New York comes in second at $79 million followed by Texas at $39 million. The smallest amount? North Dakota at $210,000.

And this on the heels of a very good month for McCain.

That's right - and McCain will win California when voters go to the polls in January due to his overwhelming support amongst hard working, white Californians. Keep California red - NObama!

Dream on. Hard-working Latinos abandoned McCain when he stopped standing up against the hateful wing of his party. He is now trying to woo us back. He gave La Opinion an interview this week where he claims that he never "abandoned" comprehensive immigration reform. Did he forget that he called it a "mistake" during the Republican primary? I guess he forgets that most California Latino voters actually read in English and (sometimes also) in Spanish. We can tell that he is trying to play both sides. Class Republican double-talk. Contrary to popular belief among Republicans, Latinos are not stupid ...
