Barack Obama's political ATM set to aid Hillary Clinton

That Friday get-together in previously obscure Unity, N.H., featuring Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton may well be oozing with goodwill.

First came word earlier today that Bill Clinton, the former president who stumped incessantly for his wife and seemed to take none-too-kindly to her defeat at Obama's hands, soon will be doing his part on behalf of the presumptive Democratic White House nominee.

Tonight came word that Obama would be doing his part to help the Clintons deal with a pressing concern: retire her multimillion-dollar campaign debt.

Mark Silva of the Chicago Tribune's Swamp blog, in a posting headlined, "Obama: Clearing Clinton's credit cards?", has more of the details.

I am 200% for Senator Obama, but don't ask me to help pay for sleazy Mark Penn or for Hilllary's destructive kitchen sink scorched earth campaign against Obama. I'll give his campaign the value of my few items of jewelry, BUT nothing to pay of Hillary's debts. After all, she kept trying to destroy Obama even AFTER it was obvious even to her that she could not win. That is, she has been positioning herself to run in 2012. Let her use Bill's illicit funders to pay off the debts of her dirty campaign.

I say Hillary should pay her own bills just like the hard-working (white) middle-class that she claimed to identify with. The Clintons are loaded! They can pay her debt and have plenty left over to privately fund other political pursuits!

So what's new about this request for assistance? H/B Clinton have been financial parasites their entire adult lives.

They have lived in subsidized housing since their early 30's as AG of Arkansas and then Governor - then another 8 years in the WH and now she in the Senate. Their present residence was 'paid' for in part by donors and 'friends of Bill' when they had to establish residence in NY to enable her to run for the Senate because they were literally bankrupt from legal fees for Bill's fiasco with Monica.

If one can believe the latest financial disclosures the two of them make enough money to pay off their debts. It was her choice to run and she lost, now let her pay the cost.

The 'con' game that these two shysters continue to run seems to be never ending. Get them out of our lives!!
